PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Dr. Chakraborty assigned with teaching and research responsibilities for more than 15 years in different PCI Approved Pharmacy Colleges and Universities. Along with his academic responsibilities he was associated with different research work evident by his authored/edited books, contribution in different peer-reviewed edited books, more than 70 research and review articles in reputed journals and one external funded project co-PI. Dr. Chakraborty is associated with different professional bodies and journals as Fellow member/Life member/Advisor/Editorial Board member/ Reviewer. Dr. Chakraborty has devoted many years of research into medicinal chemistry, traditional medicine, chemical profiling of phytochemicals, metabolic disorder and oxidative stress. He was awarded with APJ Abdul Kalam award for teaching Excellence-2018 by Marina Labs Chennai. Currently, he has completed a DBT-sponsored mega-networking project on herbal medicine as CoPI.
