Assam Don Bosco University is pleased to organize a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 13–17 July 2026, specially designed to strengthen pedagogical practices and equip faculty members with innovative approaches for teaching and learning in the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education. The programme aims to inspire educators to embrace transformative educational practices that foster academic excellence, learner engagement, and future-ready competencies.
The FDP comprises two thoughtfully curated themes. From 13–15 July 2026, the programme titled "An Upward Journey: Reimagining Learning – From South-West to North-East" will focus on contemporary pedagogical innovations, emerging educational technologies, and transformative teaching strategies that enhance classroom effectiveness. From 16–17 July 2026, the programme "Service-Learning for Transformative Education: Integrating Academic Excellence, Community Engagement, and Salesian Spirituality" will explore the integration of service-learning into higher education, emphasizing holistic student development, social responsibility, community engagement, and the values of the Salesian educational tradition.
The programme will feature distinguished resource persons from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who will share their expertise through interactive sessions, discussions, and collaborative learning activities.
