About the Event

The Department of Civil Engineering is organising a two-day workshop on Traffic Simulation using PTV VISSIM on 25–26 September 2026. Mr. Newton Sapam will demonstrate the basic uses of the software and introduce students to traffic simulation. The workshop is coordinated by Dr. Ankur Goswami, with Ms. Ananya Purkayastha and Mr. Newton Sapam serving as student coordinators. The workshop is compulsory for students enrolled in Traffic Engineering and Management and open to other interested students. Participation is free, and students who complete both sessions will receive e-certificates. Schedule: 25 September, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; 26 September, 8:00–2:00 PM.
